Dr. Grant Guevremont

For the last 20 years, Grant Guevremont has been part of the Numerical Methods group at Pratt & Whitney Canada. The group is responsible for the development, support and training for numerical methodologies and software used in the analysis and design of gas turbine engines.

Presentation Abstract

The presentation will describe the challenges and lessons learned for introducing optimization into the design system at Pratt & Whitney Canada. Experience related to the improvement of the pre-detailed design system will be discussed. A description of the analytical process certification (MASC) will be included.
